The word Integrative suggests the things which can compliment each other and can be given together. In integrative cancer treatments, the plan of treatment usually advised is along with the Standard of Care. The treatment which has been primarily advised for the patient, may be Surgery, Chemotherapy or Radiation will be considered before advising any Ayurvedic treatment.
At times, there are certain conditions where patient needs Nutritional Support before Surgery or / and after Surgery; the required supplements are being planned as per patients individual need for undergoing or after undergoing any Cancer Surgery.
Recovery of Patients after Surgery is better with proper nutrition.
These Integrative Cancer Treatments are being provided at all steps of Cancer Treatments in consultation with the respective Doctors treating the patient.
For Advanced staged Cancer patients, these treatments are being planned along with the Standard of Care.
Integrative Cancer Treatments are being planned with Chemotherapy as well as with Radiation therapy; wherever indicated.
- For planning Integrative Cancer Treatment, the patient will be assessed clinically along with all the investigations like Sonogram, CT Scan, MRI, PET CT and LAB reports of Blood with Markers whichever has been advised as per indication of that disease.
- Patients are being evaluated on Ayurveda parameters of Tri-Dosha, Sapta – Dhatu, Prakruti, as traditional methods as well as on national & International guidelines for that particular type of Cancer.
- Treatment will be advised as & when indicated which will comprise Ayurvedic medicines, Dietary guidelines and breathing techniques from Yoga.
